SAFE CAR SEAT PROGRAM REGULATIONS 1 TO 1

1. General Provisions

  1. Organizer: The “SAFE CAR SEAT PROGRAM” is organized by Quinton Baby (M) Sdn Bhd, located at No 18, Jalan Casuarina, Pusat Perniagaan Casuarina, 72100 Bahau, Negeri Sembilan.
  2. Program Duration and Scope: The program runs from 1 March 2019 until further notice.
  3. Eligible Products: All child seat models offered by Quinton Baby, purchased within Malaysia and within 3 years of purchase.
  4. Program Objective: To promote Quinton brand products.
  5. Program Benefits: Participants can return a car seat involved in an accident and receive a new one, provided all conditions are met.
  6. Eligibility: Participants must be adults with full legal capacity, reside in Malaysia, be the original owners of a Quinton car seat, and have proof of purchase.
  7. Regulations: The regulations serve as the basis for participation, defining the rights and obligations of participants and the Organizer. Violations may result in exclusion from the Program.

2. Participation Requirements

  1. Participation is voluntary and based on the regulations.
  2. Participants must meet the following criteria to receive a replacement seat:
    – The car seat was installed correctly during an accident.
    – Continued use of the seat is justified by the child’s age, height, and weight.
    – Registration in the Program within 30 days of the accident.
    – Submission of required documents, including proof of purchase, a police report or insurer’s report, and photographic evidence.
  3. Application Details: Participants must provide their name, email, phone number, address, car seat model, purchase date, accident date and place, and whether a child was involved.
  4. Support: Quinton Baby offers support through a helpline at 012 3836148 or via email at support@quintonbaby.com.my.

3. Application Review

  1. The Organizer reviews applications within 7 days of receipt.
  2. The Organizer will inform participants of the decision via email.
  3. The Organizer may return incomplete applications for additional information.
  4. Approved participants will receive instructions for returning the damaged car seat.

4. Replacement Process

  1. Participants must return the damaged car seat before receiving a replacement.
  2. The Organizer will handle the disposal of the returned seat.
  3. Replacements will be the same model and colour, or the closest available option, shipped at no cost to the participant.
  4. No cash equivalent or discount will be provided.
  5. Participants may refuse the replacement, forfeiting participation in the Program.

5. Complaints

  1. Participants must submit complaints in writing to the provided address or via email.
  2. The Organizer will address complaints within 14 days.
  3. Participants may pursue unresolved complaints in court.

6. Personal Data

  1. The Organizer will handle personal data according to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
  2. The Organizer will use data to process applications, provide customer service, manage shipping, and defend against legal claims.
  3. The Organizer will store data only as long as necessary for legal obligations and claims.
  4. The Organizer will inform participants about data processing during the application process.

7. Final Provisions

  1. The applicable law will govern matters not covered by the Regulations.
  2. Advertising materials are for informational purposes and do not override these Regulations.
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to change the Program rules or terminate it with 14 days’ notice.
  4. Participants can withdraw from the Program at any time by submitting a statement to the provided email or correspondence address.
  5. The Regulations of the safe car seat program are effective from 01/03/2019
